Terms of Service
Effective date: July 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AI LA Educational, including this website, course pages, donation pages, checkout flows, downloads, templates, and related educational services offered by Lotus Assurance.
By visiting the site, purchasing a course, making a donation, creating an account, or using any course materials, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Educational services
AI LA Educational provides educational content about artificial intelligence, productivity, business workflows, safety, privacy, and responsible technology use.
Course content is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, medical, tax, cybersecurity, or professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating AI outputs, protecting confidential information, and deciding whether a workflow is appropriate for your situation.
3. Accounts and course access
Some features may require an account or payment confirmation before access is provided. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep any login credentials secure.
Course access is for the purchaser or approved learner only unless a group, sponsor, or organizational license is agreed to in writing. You may not share paid course access, download links, private materials, or account credentials with unauthorized users.
4. Payments, checkout, and refunds
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Course pricing, included materials, and availability may change over time. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy posted on this site or by a written agreement with Lotus Assurance.
5. Donations
Donations support AI education, learning resources, scholarships, workshops, and related access initiatives. Donation descriptions are program goals and do not guarantee that a specific contribution will be used for a specific person, event, or expense unless we agree in writing.
Unless we state otherwise in writing, donations are not represented as tax-deductible charitable contributions. You should consult your own tax advisor about any tax treatment.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape private areas, upload malicious code, or use the services to violate the rights, privacy, or safety of others.
You may not use the services or materials to create deceptive, discriminatory, unlawful, harmful, or abusive content or systems.
7. Intellectual property
The site, curriculum, videos, templates, prompts, downloads, branding, design, and other materials are owned by Lotus Assurance or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
When you purchase a course, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own learning or internal work. You may not resell, republish, distribute, or create a competing course from the materials without written permission.
8. User submissions and feedback
If you submit questions, assignments, examples, feedback, testimonials, or other content, you represent that you have the right to share it and that it does not include confidential information you are not authorized to disclose.
You grant us permission to use feedback to improve the services. We will not intentionally publish private learner submissions with your name attached without permission.
9. Third-party services
The services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms such as Stripe, Vercel, email providers, analytics providers, AI tools, or learning platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Lotus Assurance is not responsible for third-party services, outages, policies, or changes.
10. Disclaimers
The services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee that the site, course, AI examples, templates, or third-party tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
AI tools can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and adapting any AI-assisted output before relying on it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lotus Assurance will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or business interruption arising from your use of the services.
Our total liability for claims related to paid course services will not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Changes and termination
We may update the services or these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these terms, created security risk, misused course materials, or engaged in unlawful activity.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by applicable United States law and the state law applicable to Lotus Assurance, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law is required.
Questions about these terms can be sent to laedu@lotusassurance.com.
